I have never been to the festival and that is for several reasons. One reason for sure is that I am usually uninterested in the acts which are not creole. The expense and exposure to the elements for so many performances that I did not want to see seemed not to be worth it.

This year, I am very disappointed with the line-up. I mean, we are stressing that it is the 10th annual holding of the festival and that is the best we can do? The presence of CaRiMi, Tabou Combo, T-Vice, Sakiss & Wyclef is commendable but with an increased budget I think that we could have done better than that. Where is Kassav? There can never be too much Kassav! We should have gone through the past performers and picked the best of the best and then add a few new names.

I just may go to the festival this year. I have never seen T-Vice perform live, and I definitely would like to! I definitely can't get enough of CaRiMi!
